TLP — The Liberian Perspective

Our Promise. Our Mandate.

The TLP Promise

TLP Sports Club is dedicated to finding the touching storylines that help you develop a more personal connection with your favorite teams. You know you love them — but do you know why you love them?

We are the College Football Welcome Center for the world. From the Power Four to the HBCUs, from the FBS to the FCS — every conference, every team, every story. Whether you are a lifelong fan or just discovering the sport, TLP is your home.

We give you the history. The coaches. The players. The culture. The things nobody else is telling you about the teams you love — and the teams you are about to fall in love with.

But our perspective is not accidental. The Liberian Perspective is in our name for a reason. It is not something we are trying to forget or hide. The African Diaspora is part of who we are, and Africans are a vital part of the DNA of American athletics.

TLP is the place that tells the stories of Africans who play American football — from college all the way to the pros. We follow every level, every conference, and every chapter. We give the same attention to the individuals who make this sport matter, and we bring that same care to the African athletes whose journeys deserve to be seen, understood, and remembered.

There is nowhere else to go for exhaustive coverage of Africans playing American football. Not one place. So we built it.

This is The TLP Promise: to give you the history, the coaches, the players, the culture, and the stories nobody else is telling — from the teams you love to the African athletes carrying the game from college to the pros.

TLP Sports Club is the College Football Welcome Center for the world, and the home of the stories that make American football matter.
